What is the difference between a food combo and a stay package?
A combo is one price on the till. A stay package is a room plus what comes with it — meals, pickup, pool — sold at the front desk and priced by the night.
Both are built in the same place and share the same engine; what differs is what they hold and how they are priced.
A food combo
A set of dishes sold as one line — Family Combo, Wedding Veg Set, Conference Tea Break. It appears on the POS screen like any other menu item.
A stay package
A room type plus the things that come with it: breakfast for two, dinner, pool access, an airport pickup. Added to a booking at the front desk and priced per room per night, per person, per person per night, or as one flat figure.
The room is included, not added
A stay package's price already covers the room, so the nightly room rate is not charged on top of it. Remove the package and the room's normal rate comes back.
Rates per room type
The same package can cost NPR 7,500 in a Standard and NPR 16,000 in a Suite. That is one package with four rates, not four packages — so the inclusions are edited once.
