How do I move a guest to a different room mid-stay?
Open the stay and choose Move Room. The bill follows the guest, and a manager can set a different nightly rate for the new room at the same time.
Everything already charged stays with the guest — a room change never starts a second bill.
What happens to the rate
Nights before the move are billed at the old room's rate and nights after at the new one. The bill breakdown shows both, one line each, so a guest asking why the total changed can be answered from the screen.
If the new room is a different class, a manager can enter the rate during the move and the amount due recalculates on the spot.
